Our Charming Apartment On Île Saint-Louis

We are home from an incredible month in Paris, and I have been going through my camera roll, along with trying to cure my Paris blues. That’s the thing about Paris, you always leave wanting more.

I have so much to share with you from the month, but I wanted to start with sharing where we stayed. If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know that I am very much a left bank girl. Saint Germain is my absolute favorite area in the city and the arrondissement we’ve always stayed in on previous trips.

However, this summer we decided to switch things up and stay on Île Saint-Louis, and we are so happy we took the chance. The island turned out to be more than we ever imagined and hoped for.

I found the apartment by chance through a friend. After searching for a while, I just couldn’t find something that fit the budget or location. So, my friend Beeta mentioned that she knew someone who rented an apartment, but it was over on Île Saint-Louis. At first, I wasn’t interested, but then I thought, why not try something different?
